LHRrehab: Offering Classes and Private Consultations

WHY PREPARE FOR KNEE REPLACEMENT SURGERY?

The most common motivation for undergoing knee replacement surgery is to relieve pain. But the accompanying changes in joint mobility, muscular strength and co-ordination, and balance (which affect sitting, reaching, walking and climbing) also require attention.Knee replacement surgery changes the surfaces which make up the knee joint. LHRrehab maximizes the benefits of surgery by preparing the body for positive change.

LEARN simple movements to restore balance and help you HEAL. RETURN to activities with renewed confidence.

Louise Chegwidden has worked as a Physical Therapist for 25 years and as a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner for 15 years, in California, Australia and South Africa. She has worked in Orthopedics, Acute Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, Private Practice and Home Health.

Louise is currently working on a book for people preparing for knee
